Type 2 uses a 5” structural I-beam upright with a 4” vertical arm adjustment. This adds a heavy-duty load capability component over Type 1. Extra heavy duty racking can handle up to 6,600 pounds per arm and configurations are available that allow overhead crane loading and unloading.
