How To Design The Pillar Spacing Of Warehouse

The design of pillar spacing of storage space in warehouse can be considered from the following aspects:


1. According to the number and type of trucks, determine the number and type of trucks whose column spacing enters the warehouse and stops: trucks of different types and weights will have different volume lengths, and the space and column spacing required for stopping platform will also be different.


2. According to the type and size of storage equipment, the design of storage space between columns should give priority to the layout efficiency of storage equipment. The design of storage space should be as large and complete as possible for the placement of storage equipment. Therefore, the space between columns should be determined in accordance with the planning of storage equipment.

Pallet depth Lp = 1.0m, channel width WL = 2.5m, rack back space Cr = 0.05m, bungalow building, two pairs of racks (N = 2) can be placed in the pillar space to calculate the internal pillar spacing.


Wc=(WL+2*Lp+Cr)*N=(2.5+2*1.0+0.05)*2=9.1m

Pallet width Wp = 1.0m, pallet row number Np = 7 pallets, pallet interval Cp = 0.05m, side clearance Co = 0.05m, to calculate the spacing of internal pillars.
